“Welcome to the Scattered Mama: Why life doesn’t need to be perfect to be meaningful”
Welcome. I’m really glad you’re here.
The Scattered Mama was created during a season of life when everything felt heavy, messy, and harder than it should have been—and yet still deeply meaningful. This space isn’t about having it all together. It’s about real life, lived imperfectly.
I’m a mother of two boys, a wife, and a teacher. For a long time, my days looked the same: teaching all day on my feet, picking up my kids, making dinner, and ending each night completely depleted. Every morning, I woke up to do it all over again—somehow feeling more tired than the day before. Everything felt hard.
Eventually, I learned there was more going on than just exhaustion. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that explained the fatigue and other symptoms I had been ignoring. Accepting that wasn’t easy. I didn’t want this to be my new normal.
That realization sparked a slow shift—not overnight, but over time. I began changing how I ate, making space for my own needs, and rethinking how I showed up for my family. It took about two years of trial, error, and reflection. Along the way, I learned to be kinder to myself and to let go of perfection. I was doing the best I could.
Little by little, I started to feel better.
The Scattered Mama is for women who feel stretched thin, who love their families deeply but feel lost in the process. Here, you’ll find honest conversations about motherhood, energy, health, and creating a life that feels more manageable.
If you’re scattered, tired, and still showing up—you belong here.
Welcome to The Scattered Mama. 💛
